Rai was raised in a single parent household as an only child, from an early age he's showed signs of an above-average intelligence, always being ahead of other kids his age in academics.
Unlike most kids with an IQ like his, he developed pretty well socially so he avoided the loneliness many like him suffer in school. His mother is not a wealthy woman so it looked for a long time that he'd not be able to get into one of the country's better schools, until this chance came on his path, so he grabbed it with both hands.
